Available for our customer use at a small charge

"Valle Ofanto" is about a 10 minute drive away. There is a cafe open all day serving drinks and snacks and also the restaurant for lunch and dinner where we love to eat. (currently closed on Monday's)
As well as the swimming pool, there is the play park and football pitch and a few resident animals. A life guard is also on duty.
 
There is another outdoor pool available for use at a small charge within walking distance from out house. I have only visited this pool but not used it yet, however it looks of the same high standard. At this pool there is also a games room and snack bar.
 
The swimming pool's are normally open from 1st June to 15th September

Melfi - Medieval town at the foot of Mount Vulture.
(we took our children to the castle to help with their school project in England. It took us around 40 minutes to drive through the countryside)

Amalfitan Coast - vistors can easily reach the beautiful coastlines south of Naples.
 
 
Laghi di Monticchio - Mount Vulture - inactive volcano.
The sights to visit are the two lakes within the volcano. The small lake is fed by springs of mineral water. (about 25 minutes drive, see picture below)

Various shops, including a very good sports shop.(Came in very handy when one of our suitcases went missing for a week, and we had to purchase new ski wear and various other items)

Various bars/coffee shops/Cafe's, wonderful cakes and pastries.
Cheese shop, that stocks the best local cheese that are made in one of the grotto's in Calitri.
